Clinical Research Coordinator
Leighann Collins joined Olympian Clinical Research in 2016 as a Clinical Research Coordinator after working for 7 years as a Dermatology Medical Assistant. Leighann has experience conducting Phase II-IV trials, maintains her certification in Good Clinical Practice through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative, and is trained in phlebotomy and the transportation of dangerous goods. She has experience with many of the various vendors associated with the conduct of clinical research including laboratory, cardiology and personal handheld devices used for data collection. She has had training on most of the IWRS and electronic data capturing systems (EDCs) used by the sponsors. Leighann has conducted numerous clinical research studies for Dermatological indications in adult and pediatric populations as well as Endocrine and Women’s Health Studies.
